The College Council is a statutory body that advises and assists the Principal in all academic and administrative matters. It consists of the Principal, the Heads of all Departments, three elected representatives, the Head of the Administrative Staff and the College Librarian, with the Principal as its Chairman.
The Council Secretary issues notice of council meetings in consultation with the Principal, prepares and maintains the proceedings of the meetings. Two days' prior notice is given for usual meetings, while urgent meetings are convened at short notice.
