About the Department of Sanskrit
The contributions made by Sanskrit language and literature to the Indian culture are incredible. It gives a major support to the development of Malayalam language and literature. The Department of Sanskrit has been functioning as complementary subject of Malayalam. The Department proves its academic excellence with more than 95% result every semester. The students are awarded endowment and scholarships for the academic excellence in the name of Venmani Parameswaran Namboothiri.
