About the Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics was established in 1969. The Department offers First Degree Programme with Mathematics with Complementary Physics and Statistics. It also offers open course in “Operation Research”. Each class has a class tutor to monitor student activities. The Department provides remedial coaching as well as peer teaching for weaker students. The Department publishes a magazine year wise. The department conducts mathematical activities and exhibition to invoke interest in the subject. It produces excellent results and encourage the students to peruse higher studies. Through regular PTS meeting, the department creates an excellent bond between the stakeholders
